Monty Speaks! Lew Writes!

Noted financial, economic and political guru Monty Pelerin joined me Thursday, 23 August, to play Paul Revere as he discussed the "the Cliff" and other imminent calamities about to be visited upon us all. To appreciate the full impact of the conversation, read this first.

Wouldn't you agree your favorite teachers in school were the ones who helped you actually learn stuff? Personally, I am fondly indebted to Miss McEnroe (English), Mr. Simon (Science), Mr. Morgan (Ancient History), Mr. Gordon (American History), MaryAnn (Sex Ed.....well, technically that wasn't "school") for incubating what hatched into an abiding affection and appreciation for all they taught me.While I never took any classes in Economics (and slept through most of Accounting 101), over my years in Talk Radio I have come to learn the essence of economic principles from some of today's best: Walter E. Williams, Tom Sowell, Thomas E. Woods, Jr., Stephen Moore and Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr., chairman and CEO of the Ludwig von Mises Institute in Auburn, Alabama, editor of LewRockwell.com, author of The Left, the Right, and the State and countless other articles, interviews, blogs and speeches. Of recent note, is Lew's "review" on "Inception" Even if you didn't see the movie, you will enjoy this unique learning experience. Such is the art of great teachers.
